Healing Tinnitus Pad Placements

At first it is a little phantom sound; you hear things that others can’t [and I’m not talking about ghosts here folks] but strange little rings, whistles, hums or clicks. From there, these sounds start to amplify and focusing on the world around you becomes beyond difficult.

If this sounds familiar, then you or someone you love may be experiencing tinnitus. With the way that we are often exposed to loud music with our headphones and the loud sounds of big cities, this is becoming more and more common.

What I want to do is not only bring awareness to this, but to also teach you about how you can use your own light therapy system to heal and cope from this. Keep reading to find out more!

Now, if you’re like me you might be wondering, what exactly is Tinnitus?

“Tinnitus is when you experience ringing or other noises in one or both of your ears. The noise you hear when you have tinnitus isn't caused by an external sound, and other people usually can't hear it.” (Article 1.)

This is usually a symptom to an underlying cause that is typically age-related or an injury within your circulatory system. That’s where light therapy comes in!

If you are hearing phantom noises, then you might hear abnormal (Article 1):

  • Buzzing

  • Roaring

  • Clicking

  • Hissing

  • Humming

Having Tinnitus can often lead to increased stress, sleep problems, issues with focus, headaches, and memory problems.

Here’s how light therapy can help with Tinnitus:

When you use light therapy, the lights help to reduce inflammation within your body, allowing it to clear out toxins, remove built-up cellular waste and infection to allow for your body to naturally circulate as it needs to. The ringing in your ears can come from an injury within your circulatory system. This reduction of inflammation is essential to speed along the healing process.

Light therapy also supports healthy blood flow to areas of your body, like your immune system and inner ear canal, to remove waste and to stimulate healing, increase tissue oxygenation, and increase antioxidants. With tinnitus and hearing loss, this ability to remove waste and promote healing increases the longevity of your body's hearing and your own well-being.

Pad Placements to help with Tinnitus:

Facemask: You will start by placing the facemask around the eyes. This helps to direct energy to your entire skull, including your inner ear where you’re experiencing Tinnitus symptoms, and allows for more blood flow and circulation so your body can repair itself.

Skinny Rectangle (Tri-color): Next, you’ll place the skinny rectangle along the jaw (from ear to ear.) This will continue to focus the red, infrared and blue light to target your ears and head.

Square (Red and Infrared): You’ll then place this pad along your lower back. This allows the light wavelengths to help engage the central nervous system into a parasympathetic state.

Big Rectangle (Red and Infrared): This pad will then be placed across your tummy and wrapped around the liver along your right side.  This is to focus energy on giving your liver the energy it needs to clean itself and flush out inflammation.

Big Rectangle or Tpad (Red and Infrared): Lastly, you’ll place a larger pad (either of these will work) along your mid-back to boost your adrenals.

Tinnitus can be easily triggered by stress or what you eat and drink. Accordingly, applying pads on the stomach, eyes, adrenals (mid-back) and low back helps the healing process. This type of light therapy gets to the root of the problem.

Not being able to focus clearly and navigate your day without pain is something that no one should have to face. I hope that this information can help you in your healing journey so you can experience the day pain free.

Please feel free to give me a call anytime if you need clarity or want to catch up, I’m here for you!

With Lights and Love,
